HipChat is now free for unlimited users. Awesome.
A year ago we made HipChat free for teams of five, and thousands of teams have learned how great chat can be. But we believe that teams of every size deserve the power of HipChat.
Starting today we're offering two ways to use HipChat:
  • HipChat Basic (free): Group chat and 1-to-1 messaging for every person on your team.
  • HipChat Plus ($2/user/month): All of the features of HipChat, including video calling and unlimited, searchable message history.
If you're paying for HipChat – your plan name will change but your features and price stay exactly the same.
If you're using HipChat for free – you can now add as many users as you want. We've updated the Basic plan features, so check out the blog for all the details.
We think every team in the world will benefit from HipChat. We're introducing free HipChat Basic so that every team can.
