Job Title: Trade Support - Cash Seetlement/Buy-Sell Experience - Investment Firm

Salary: 65K + Excellent Bonus

Location: Singapore

Job Spec:

The Operations Specialist in the Singapore office will provide support to the daily trading activities of all portfolio managers trading Equity and Fixed Income products based in Asia, primarily Singapore. Candidate should be able to work in a fast paced environment and one that is continually changing/ developing. Candidate MUST be able to work independently as well as in team environment.

• Daily trade and cash settlement / reconciliation with regards to Equity and/or Fixed Income product areas
• Products coverage: Cash Equities, Equity Swaps, Corporate & Government Bonds, IRS, CDS, FX & NDF, Vanilla Options, Exotic Options, Futures and Future Options
• Establish good working relationship with Portfolio Managers and will be the primary point of contact for Asia based Portfolio Managers on day to day issues as well as broader issues which may require escalation to Management
• Liaise with prime brokers and sell-side dealers on a regular basis to resolve issues
• Analyze processes to enhance work efficiency and participate in adhoc projects when needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Finance/Economics
• Min 5 years of experience in Trade Support capacity; Other MO/BO functions will be considered as well
• Prior experience in Buy- or Sell-side with Equity and Fixed Income product exposure preferred. Otherwise, knowledge in Equities is a must.
• MUST have strong communication skills.
• Attention to details and able to show adaptability to pick up technical skills/product knowledge quickly
• Ability to interact with Traders or Portfolio Managers as well as other teams globally
